The poem is "since feeling is first" by ee cummings, but the main reason I know that is because my friend from Grinnell had "lady I swear by all flowers. don't cry" as her plan name for ages and ages. So don't worry, I haven't ACTUALLY learned about poetry behind your back. (Though actually I do like this particular poem.)
My corner of the blogosphere. I'm working on my PhD in Rhetoric and Composition at UWM (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee). My areas of interest are rhetorical invention, critical pedagogy, new media/visual studies, experimental writing, and curriculum development.

Don't know the original poem, alas. I like this. I look forward to hearing more about it.
